Sawdust piles up between concrete barriers. On a rainy November day it’s like clay. In higher quantities it’s solid and in small amounts it’s powdery. 

The sawdust slurry of Elm smells like manure.

It is used as energy source for the heater but part of it is given away for gardening and composting purposes.
